My Philosophy
Understanding that changes are needed in order to live the life you want does not always equate feeling ready to do so, or knowing where to start. If you are feeling as if your emotional bandwidth is compromised by internal conflict or outside stressors, it may be difficult to allow yourself to try something new. As a relational therapist, I cultivate the connection and safety that are needed to help my clients to feel more willing to challenge themselves and their beliefs in the interest of personal growth.
I specialize in working with individuals with adult ADHD, anxiety, relationship issues, occupational stress, and developmental trauma. When working with couples, I utilize the Gottman Method and EFT to help couples break patterns that cause harm to the relationship.
Helping people more effectively create meaning and connection in their lives is one of the most beautiful things I have the pleasure to witness as a therapist. Together, we will explore how the past has shaped you and how we can reshape the present and future to better suit you.
